My name is Stanislava Sindjelic. I graduated in Textiles and Contemporary Clothing in Belgrade, where I gained knowledge in the fields of textile design, garment construction, and shaping. During my studies, I developed an interest in contemporary approaches to fashion, material research, and the combination of traditional textile techniques with modern expression. In my work, I pay close attention to the connection between aesthetics and functionality, with a particular focus on sustainable design and the visual identity of clothing. I have participated in several artistic projects aimed at preserving the intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Serbia. I am inspired by life and customs in this region, as well as by traditional clothing-making techniques. I build clothing compositions by experimenting with various textures and colours, exploring the relationship between the body and the costume. I am currently pursuing further studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, in the field of textiles, with the goal of connecting art, fashion, and new technologies. 我叫 Stanislava Sindjelic,畢業於貝爾格勒的 紡織與當代服裝系,在學期間累積了紡織設計、服裝結構與造型塑造等領域的專業知識。求學過程中,我逐漸對時尚的當代表現方式、材質研究,以及將傳統紡織技術與現代表達相結合產生濃厚興趣。在創作中,我特別關注美學與機能之間的關係,並聚焦於永續設計與服裝的視覺識別。此外,我亦曾參與多項致力於保存 塞爾維亞共和國非物質文化遺產 的藝術計畫。 我的靈感來自此地區的生活樣貌與文化習俗,以及傳統服裝製作技藝。我透過對不同材質與色彩的實驗,建構服裝組合,持續探索身體與服裝之間的關係。目前,我正於貝爾格勒 應用藝術學院(Faculty of Applied Arts) 進修紡織相關研究,期望能將藝術、時尚與新科技相互連結。

/Description and concept of the artwork

This work combines rustic aesthetics with contemporary clothing expression, exploring the relationship between tradition, individuality, and artistic form. Inspired by the authenticity of handcraft and natural materials, it evokes a dialogue between the past and the present through the layering of fabrics and the interplay of diverse textures. Soft textile surfaces, lace, feathers, and structured elements merge into a unique composition that celebrates craftsmanship and individuality. The rustic character emerges from natural tones, irregular forms, and the contrast of different material qualities. Viewing the garment as an art object blurs the line between fashion and sculpture. The focus lies on texture, tactility, and symbolism — elements that express a personal interpretation of identity, heritage, and modernity. 本作品結合質樸美學與當代服裝語彙,探討傳統、個體性與藝術形式之間的關係。作品靈感源於手工工藝與天然材質的真實本質,透過布料層疊與多樣肌理的交錯互動,喚起過去與現在之間的對話。 柔軟的織物表面、蕾絲、羽毛與結構性元素融合為一體,形成獨特的服裝構成,禮讚工藝精神與個人特質。其質樸性格來自天然色調、不規則形態,以及不同材質特性之間的對比。 當服裝被視為一件藝術作品時,時尚與雕塑之間的界線隨之模糊。作品聚焦於肌理、觸感與象徵性——這些元素共同表達了我對身份認同、文化傳承與當代性的個人詮釋。 |
