The Concept and Description of the Work關於參展作品的創作動機與設計理念

Through my journey to northern Thailand, I gained invaluable experience in the art of natural dyeing on woven fabrics. I was introduced to the unique technique of Mo-Hom, which involves dyeing leaves to create a range of stunning blue hues using eco- friendly materials and processes. This experience allowed me to recognize the importance of repurposing leftover textiles and experimenting with dyeing to create new and beautiful elements. By following the principles of material wisdom and respect, I was able to develop a guide for creating new patterns and colors using “Boro” technique; it's a philosophy that can be applied to all aspects of life. This record serves as a testament to the knowledge and skills I gained during my travels, inspiring me to continue to explore and create the endless journey possibilities of natural dyed woven fabric combination to wearable art in everyday life.
